Penang and the perfect wife

I am at home already. No need to ask what is the time now..or else i sedang kantoikan diri sendiri ;p.Oh my...Ustaz is calling...what does he want? Anyway, i am going to Penang starting from tomorrow till Monday with my big families (hubby, Fahri and I, my dad, mom and sis together with my bro, sil and the two boys) and if everything goes accordingly to plan, we might stay one night at hubby's kampung- Ijuk, Perak since my MIL will be there for a week. I have invited my mom and dad to join along. I know they love going to new places and meeting new people especially those places that they have never been to. And Penang is one of the places that my mom is longing to travel around. Actually, based on our (hubby and I) finance condition for this month, we should not go anywhere for a vacation, but because I love my mom so much and she is really hoping that this family vacation will be a dream comes true, i have succeeded persuading my hubby to go. Yeay! Thank u hubby. I have been to Penang once during my lecturing years in Perak back in 2007. It was a two-day visit to Penang...I can't recall the purpose of the visit but I went there with my good colleagues and all I remembered was that we went to Panggung P.Ramlee to watch one of our good friends' act - a classic traditional play. Oh man... I was sooo into theater back then. Anyway, all I can say is that I love Penang and I miss being there. There will be another reason why I can't afford to say no to my mom. And of course, the food! I am imagining the best Nasi kandar now! I am not craving but I am a food lover...U give me good food..i'll pay, buddy! Despite the fact that I am trying my best not to gain so much this time around, I am gonna be a food junkie at Penang, without an excuse! But of course, being fat doesn't help either ;)

You know what, I am currently in the mid of reading 'How To Be Married' by Polly Williams. It's a great novel! Since I am starting to read novels back (after completing my master's), this one is a can't-be-missed novel. I bought it using my book voucher and it really worth it. I can't wait to finish it but I am going for a vacation. I don't think I have the time to enjoy my leisure reading there. Just gonna share a lil bit of the storyline. It's about Sadie Drew, a wife and a mother of 4-year old kid, clumsy, doesn't really care about her appearance after delivering her first child, plus she neglects most of the the house-chores' lists. Basically, she is far from being the perfect wife. Until she met an old lady, quite mysterious, her life is starting to change. She learns slowly how to be the perfect wife. So, what does she learn? You need to read it! haha...
I can see myself in Sadie's character in a way. That's how I consider a good novel is...when I can relate the story with mine..heee. Not in every ways but certain circumstances that have been plotted by Williams are just exactly what most wives nowadays are facing through. I think I am better than Sadie in many ways ;p InsyaAllah...
Ok...need to start packing now before mr hubby gets back from work.

Another circle of friends

Pipah, Kamine, me and Fina

I love these people. There should be one more lady in the picture, the newly wed Aida. All of them were my ex colleagues. I really had good time during those years. Meeting up with them will always be the moment that I am excited about. It's different. I'll always make sure that I am well prepared before the catching-up session. Why?

Because of the topics that we usually discuss. With my other circles of friends, I will usually have a so called 'girlish and kak joyah' chatting. But with Fina, Afifah, Kamine and Aida....I feel so matured. We are still talking about motherhood, life, future and kids but we talk from heart. We don't care about taking care of each other's feeling...we're just being ourselves. I just love it. Talking with them makes me part of them. I feel educated and brilliant! haha...boleh tak...

I can't wait for another cath-up session! Love u guys!

Mother's Day is Everyday

I love this picture. They have so many resemblances in so many ways. When we go out for shopping or for a walk, i'll try to make both of them wear the same attire....

 Mr Hubby..

The flower and I...En Hubby was begging one of the girls (in a way) who were giving out flowers for Mother's Day...Actually the flowers were only for the mothers who pass by..but he managed to get one for me...thank u abg =)

Dear BB,

 Dear BB,

Anyway, BB is referred to my second baby inside my tummy, not blackberry. BB, You should know that mama and papa love u so much. And of course abg Fahri loves you too! Mama can't hardly wait to see you in this real world. Some people said that the excitement of getting a second child is not as exciting as getting the first one. But mama wants you to know that there is no difference. I am going to love you just exactly the way I love abg Fahri.

It's funny how mama has a strong feeling and instinct that you are gonna be a girl, but you are actually a boy! Another boy in the family! Well, mama's hair is growing healthily this time around unlike during mama's first pregnancy. Thus, mama thought it's gonna be a girl! And mama loves to dress and doll up too. Mama thought it is the symptom of having a baby girl. But, it doesn't change the fact that I love you so much. So much. No worries. I can't wait to see u in a clearer picture when mama and papa are going for 3D and 4D scan on next month's check-up!

Of course mama is hoping for a daughter but we still have a lot of time, baby! More productions are on the way (what the....hahah). It is cute to have a sister, right? I really hope you and abg Fahri are going to be the best buddy later. Mama can imagine myself being the queen in the house ;) Let's pray to Allah S.W.T. that you will be delivered safely, healthily, beautifully and perfectly. InsyaAllah.....

Hye bb! Mama and papa can't wait to see u!

Abg fahri pun cannot wait tau, bb! We love u! Mwahhh...xoxo
