School Session 2018

Ok school holiday is over boys! It's time to go back to school. I kept reminding them on how many days left before they begin schooling for 2018 and they did countdown every single day. So, they kinda 80% ready haha. The other 20% was like "mama...can we have more school holidayssss".

Alhamdulillah, this year, there was no drama on the first day of schooling for both Abang Fahri and Abang naeem. Abang Fahri in primary year 2 and Naeem pre school year 2/ final year.
Dah besar anak2 mama.

Abang Fahri

Since Naeem's schooling began a week late (coz teachers wanted to focus on the new students during the first week), we brought him along to Abang Fahri's school. Both hubby and I took leave on the first day. Abang Fahri was ok just a bit cranky coz he had to wake up early after 40 days of getting up at 10 am in the morning. But after all, he is very easy to manage, had breakfast at home and we headed to the school at 7 am.
I think there were only 3 parents who were waiting outside hahaha yea la they are already in primary 2! kahkah saja nak intai2..
Then, at 2 pm, we sent him to Sekolah Agama. Looking at this picture, besarnya abang Fahri. Yes, he eats a lot nowadays. Alhamdulillah I am so happy.

So, Mia, the cousin has joined Fahri in both schools, morning and afternoon. I hope they can look after each other. Mia in primary 1.
Tengokla tu, Mia makan kuih je.. Fahri mesti nak nasi hihi

Naeem

Alhamdulillah... pun no drama sangat just lama jugakla sesi pujuk memujuk. Biasalah first day of school after a long break. Dengan mama yang tak larat dah ni.

Oh ya, harusla terpaksa papa n mama promised Naeem to buy him toys Ultraman if he goes to school hahha...Budak banyak akal..

Thank you anak-anak mama for being cooperative enough to go to school. Mama always prays that both of you love going to school, love knowledge and are surrounded with good people. In shaa Allah. Semoga berjaya dunia akhirat.

Fahri turns 7

Alhamdulillah abg Fahri turned 7 years old on the 30th September 2017. He is all grown up. Thus, there was no fancy birthday celebration this time around. Besides, after so much thought, we want to reduce the intake of sugar in the family (poyo tak ayat ni haha). Thus, we decided just to get him slices of SR cakes instead. ( I know my boys especially Fahri will finish one whole SR cake within two or three days. Just imagine the amount of sugar intake inside the body). Besides, his birthday fell on Saturday which means there were only us (hubby, me and naeem) to celebrate him. So, no need to buy that one whole cake. However, since my Fahri loves eating so much, we treated him with his favorite menus instead! The Chicken Chop and Pizzas..yummiehhh...He was so happy. Alhamdulillah, we still have each other to celebrate and to get together on special and meaningful occasion like this. That matters the most.
Happy 7th birthday cinta hati mama!
Abg Fahri yang dah banyak improved in sorts of aspects Alhamdulillah
Managing two kids at a restaurant always gives me a goose bump. I can't imagine myself handling 3
kids by next year in sha Allah...Hoping that all of my children will behave ok sayang2
 with my nyawa2.
 My handsome gentlemen
Cheeky Naeem and mr Cool Fahri..
Alhamdulillah Fahri is a very tolerable son. He rarely complains about anything.
 Their true colors haha
Naeem was so happy for his bro's big day
Us in 2017 💖

My dear son Ashman Fahri,

Words can't describe how proud I am to witness your progress, day by day. Mama always cry especially after seeing you sleep every night because mama just so happy that Allah swt grants you with a pure heart and a good health Alhamdulillah. Allah swt is so kind to always grant all of mama's wishes to see you becoming a better khalifah every day.

My Fahri dear, at 7 years old, you are such a sweetheart to Naeem as a big brother. You always give in with your brother which touches my heart. You never asks for anything unless we are outside in a mall.

Only Allah knows how happy I am to see you are doing good in school. I guess only papa and mama who truly understand your capability. Don't worry baby. We never judge you because we know the true you. Allah swt is the Best Listener and mama will never stop praying for you sayang.

Happy birthday and thank you for being a good son and a good brother to Naeem. May Allah swt always bless you with good health and success in the world and hereafter.

The Perfect Mother

Assalamualaikum..

To be a perfect mom is not easy. Especially if you are a working mom. You spend 8 hours in the office and 1 hour on the road (at least). Basically, you miss most of the hours to be spent with your children. However, I believe that each of us has our own fate and pathway destined by the Almighty Allah swt.

I felt awesome this morning because I think I had a chance to be the perfect mother at least since last night. Last night, my father in law was not feeling well, feverish for the past few days. Thus, he could not sent my sis in law Aina back to school in Kuala Selangor. So, yup, I was aware that my husband had to send her. And my mother in law decided to follow them. So, I was with my boys together with my feverish FIL. He was just having some rest in the room. I brought Fahri to shower, made sure the boys had their dinner and kept asking them if  they wanted to eat and eat (yeahh i love feeding them with lots of food haha).. Then, monitoring them doing their school works after a long Chinese New Year holidays. At 10 pm sharp, I switched off the TV (of course with some hesitations from the boys), brought them to bed. A new routine was continued even though without their papa; perform Ishak before sleep. Alhamdulillah, everything went well and they managed to sleep easier and faster than I expected.

Oh ya, while monitoring them doing their school works, I had this conversation with abg Fahri:

Me: Ashman (sometimes I call him Ashman instead of Fahri), kenapa selalu bawak bekal nasi lemak Ashman tak habis makan?
Ashman: Sebab nasi asyik tumpah2 down there. Ashman comot...
Me: You mean nasi lemak tumpah comot kena baju Ashman ke?
Ashman: Ha betul
Me: Oh no wonder la asyik tak habis nasi lemak sedangkan tu your fav menu!
Me: So...Ashman nak bawak bekal apa besok ni..nak makan apa..
Ashman: Hmmm ashman nak mee la..
Me: ok nanti mama potong mee kecik2 so x tumpah dah ok
Ashman: Ok ok

So I decided to wake up at 5 am and ready to prepare his fried noodle! Of course my hubby said that he could just buy the fried noodle somewhere so I don't have to cook and wake up that early! But I was afraid if he accidentally buy the SPICY fried noodle which will lead to the same prob--> Fahri will not finish his lunchbox. Thus, I decided to prepare the menu for his lunchbox. I just felt like the perfect mother that early morning; slicing the onions, cut cut cut... chop chop... tumissss... haha

Then, papa took Fahri to shower and I put on his school attire while he was sleeping (yups he is such a baby and not a morning person) and I waved him a good bye when papa drove him to school.

yeahh... It was one of my 'perfect mother' moments

Fahri's first week of school in primary 1

Assalamualaikum..

2017 has began challengingly to most parents who have 1st grader students including myself and it is more adventurous when I have two boys who are going to start schooling! Why adventurous? Because their behaviors can never be expected.

However, Alhamdulillah. Both Fahri and Naeem have surprised us with their co-operative and positive behavior for the first week.

Jom kita tengok cerita abang Fahri dulu who is now in standard one. We decided to send him to a national school which means he will go for two-session school- morning for national school and afternoon for religious school. I used to listen to so many stories on how tired these kids who are going for two-session school. I was worried at first. However, everything seems ok for now, Alhamdulillah.

The first day of school:
National primary school (morning)

The night before, we managed to put them in bed at 11 pm. well, we actually took them to sleep at 10 pm but being Fahri, he would find excuses not to sleep that early. Ada je dia nak buat. Now, favorite dia buat math exercise before sleep hmmm sabar je la anak mama ni. But, Alhamdulillah, the first day went well. He got cranky a little to put him in shower but he got better after wearing school attire. Awww so handsome my boy and you have grown up very fast! Such an emotional morning for me. Oh ya, I woke up at 5 am to cook Nasi Lemak, can you believe that? haha semangat..biasalah awal2..hhi..Everything went smoothly since we have prepared everything earlier (ironing the clothes, arranged the shoes, bag, socks, singlets, boots at one place). Both hubby and I took leave on the first day. Hubby sent Fahri to school while I sent Naeem to pre-school. I asked hubby to take many pictures of him at school since I couldn't send him.

The first lunchpack ... Nasi Lemak..his favorite with boiled eggs
Ready to go to school....still x mau pandang camera
Papa sent the pictures! Oh my ...my Fahri..so handsome
At the first row during assembly
queuing up to classroom
He sat next to a girl on the first day
Then, i went to his school after sending Naeem (next post) because I really wanted to see how my big baby was doing at his new school. Thus, these were some pictures taken by mama.. Alhamdulillah, he was happily eating his Nasi Lemak during recess. Habis licin! We accompanied him for the first day. Maybe he is still shy to make friends at school.
Papa and his love. Manja nya tolong apa tu papa..the first day memang ramai parents datang la kan
Amboi dah tersengeh2 duk sblh girl tu hihi... Study smart ye sayang

Then, he finished school at 12.45 and was rushing for religious school which starts at 2.20 pm. So, he only has around one hour to eat, bath and socialize haha. Poor my baby.

Religious school (afternoon session)

We reached the school at 2.10 pm. He seemed so excited going to school. No drama at all! So proud of you Fahri.. Alhamdulillah
Done for first day of schooling! Well done my boy.. Mama was crying inside

Second Day:

I was stalking him from far to see whether he could manage and independent especially during recess. But, he was still looking for me/ his papa. He didn't see me so he just stood up like he was waiting for us to bring him to the canteen. So I brought him to the canteen and while accompanying him to eat, I told him that he has to make friends because mama and papa can not be with him all the time at school. He seemed to understand.
Parents yang datang pun dah kurang

Third Day:
Papa's turn to stalk him. Doing some coloring activity while waiting for the teacher to come. Papa was quite late to stalk him before recess time and when he arrived at school, Fahri was already at the canteen... good boy! He was eating alone alaaaa ciannya.

Fourth Day: (The last day of the first week)

Tried a new menu instead of Nasi Lemak. I cooked fried noodles with prawns and boiled eggs.
The fourth day, we should just let him be independent. However, my mother's instinct still wanted to stalk him whether he has coped well. So, I went to the school (30 minutes from shah alam). I was also late and he was already in the canteen when I arrived. I was about to cry seeing my boy was fully independent. Such a big boy. Then terkantoi plak, he saw me and was waving at me.. I wiped his nose as he was having a flu.. he was feeling a lit bit shy so he asked me to leave hahahah

So, that was a story of my first son going to primary school on the first week. May Allah ease his journey in schooling and gaining knowledge.. aminnn

Fahri's Graduation Day

Assalamualaikum,

Wow what a busy bee I was! Of course with work! So we're gonna do lots of recaps ya (chehhh perasan ada followers..kasi chance la ;p) Before the school session ended last year for Fahri, we managed to attend the Grand Ihtifal Little Caliphs held in Concourse Hotel, Klang. It was a grand event for the kids' graduation.. Dah rasa macam attend convocation universiti pulak haha. Fahri completed the 2 years program in Little Caliphs... Alhamdulillah.. Now he is already entering Standard 1.. oh my..ok tu nanti kita story...meh layan citer basi dulu haha

Abg Fahri on stage with his classmates...I love their performance...They did a choral speaking and a short play about war in Syria and humanity. Fahri took a role as one of the soldiers who saved the hostages and mama still remember his one line "Stop ! Let them go!" hahahaha masa bila ntah dia hafal..kat rumah x de nampak pun sebut.. The teachers were also surprised that he actually could remember his turn to speak in front of the big audience. Good job abg Fahri.. U have never failed to surprise us with your hidden capability.
Abg Fahri as a soldier.. costume prepared by the teacher. Good job teacher !

One for the album

Overall, I enjoyed the event. The food was excellent and the performances were awesome. Well done to all teachers and committee members.

As a mother, I am fully satisfied with the Little Caliphs Program and I am so grateful that we actually sent our kids there. Fahri can read well, count, draw, write but of course he needs more improvement. Alhamdulillah Fahri's pre school years went well and I myself, have learned so many things from the teachers and school as well.

memories will be remained...
Please remember Teacher Jannah .. last day of school.. it was a quite emotional moment for us..
And teacher Fatin too

I can never thank the teachers enough for all the concerns and cares toward Fahri for the two years of his pre-school. May Allah swt reward all of the teachers with good life and rezeki.. In sha Allah..
