Naeem's first week of school in Little Caliphs

Assalamualaikum..

Ok now.. cerita adik pulak which will be slightly shorter compared to his brother's story 2 years ago haha. This is because Naeem cried for only one day! Pandainya adik!

He attended the orientation day 4 days before the school actually started. He was ok when we sent him but he was all moody and sad after the orientation haha. I know why.. Because all of the kids were crying! so anak mama pun lemah semangat.. So you just imagine, he kept saying that he doesn't want to go to school and kept repeating it for 3 days! Just because he had a not-so-good experience during the orientation day. Of course, hubby and I kept consulting him, convinced him that school is fun yadayada. But, most of the times, he was sad hihi. I had to bribe him with few new toys and snacks to cheer him a little bit. He made me promise to be with him at school because he said he would only go if I accompany him at school. Naeem is a cheeky boy and talkative. Some of the sentences that came out from his mouth have made me hopeless :(

"Mama..naeem tak mau pegi school..naeem kan kecik lagi"

"Mama...mama kan teacher...mama jar je la naeem kat umah"

"Mama...naeem nak duk ngan opah je...naeem sayang opah"

and other few ayat2 makan dalam sampai mama naik stress sbb sejam sekali duk sebut.. tp ada bagusnya mama bertegas sebab the night before school tu, he said 'oklah mama..naeem pegi school tapi mama tunggu naeem kat atas tau' with his sad tone.

The first day:

So, the first day of school, he woke up at 6! Naeem is a boy who easily got awake with strong smell or noises. I guess he was awake due to my sambal nasi lemak's aroma hehe. So, i guess he was tired and sleepy. As promised, I accompanied him to school since i wanted to see the teacher to change his school uniform's size. Thus, I took advantage to accompany him. I thought he would be ok after few minutes but the more I waited, more drama happened. Well, the first day is normal to see some of the kids crying. And it was his first day. Thankfully, I have experienced this with his brother 2 years ago, so I was a lil bit firm hehe. No more crying ... just emotionally touched inside. So I asked the teacher to take Naeem from me by force huu. I had to do that. He was screaming and crying.. Poor my baby but I know he will survive. I left him with thousand of hopes.

still smiling before reaching school
dah kecut perut x mau school
was still ok because mama was still there
sempat selfie
he was about to cry

The second day:

Papa sent him to school with bike and he did not cry. Still sad about going to school.

I picked him up. Teacher said he did not cry. Good boy!

Third day:

I sent him to school and I went to work. He felt a little emotional because I had to go to work. He cried a little bit when I sent him. Then, atok fetched him and he cried at home when he found out that mama is working haha

Fourth day:

No drama at all! He loves schooling and kept telling what he learned at school.

Dear Naeem, I always have a faith in you. You are a friendly and lovable boy. I am sure teachers will love you. Same goes to your friend. May Allah swt ease your journey in school sayang... aminnn

p/s: there were not so many pictures of naeem at school since the parents are not allowed to wait at school.

Fahri's Graduation Day

Assalamualaikum,

Wow what a busy bee I was! Of course with work! So we're gonna do lots of recaps ya (chehhh perasan ada followers..kasi chance la ;p) Before the school session ended last year for Fahri, we managed to attend the Grand Ihtifal Little Caliphs held in Concourse Hotel, Klang. It was a grand event for the kids' graduation.. Dah rasa macam attend convocation universiti pulak haha. Fahri completed the 2 years program in Little Caliphs... Alhamdulillah.. Now he is already entering Standard 1.. oh my..ok tu nanti kita story...meh layan citer basi dulu haha

Mama mestilah amik kesempatan pakai shawl mama sendiri.. marketing ok kihkih..with Naeem..
Us with the class photo of Abg Fahri... cantik gambar kali ni!
Mama saja matchy2 kan adik with papa
Otomen ni pun dah school this year
Abg Fahri on stage with his classmates...I love their performance...They did a choral speaking and a short play about war in Syria and humanity. Fahri took a role as one of the soldiers who saved the hostages and mama still remember his one line "Stop ! Let them go!" hahahaha masa bila ntah dia hafal..kat rumah x de nampak pun sebut.. The teachers were also surprised that he actually could remember his turn to speak in front of the big audience. Good job abg Fahri.. U have never failed to surprise us with your hidden capability.
Abg Fahri as a soldier.. costume prepared by the teacher. Good job teacher !
Mama memang pantang nampak photobooth. Maafkan mama.
Nasiblah dapat a camera-shy son. Kalau tidak x de chance orang lain nak amik gambar hihi

One for the album

Overall, I enjoyed the event. The food was excellent and the performances were awesome. Well done to all teachers and committee members.

As a mother, I am fully satisfied with the Little Caliphs Program and I am so grateful that we actually sent our kids there. Fahri can read well, count, draw, write but of course he needs more improvement. Alhamdulillah Fahri's pre school years went well and I myself, have learned so many things from the teachers and school as well.

memories will be remained...
Please remember Teacher Jannah .. last day of school.. it was a quite emotional moment for us..
And teacher Fatin too

I can never thank the teachers enough for all the concerns and cares toward Fahri for the two years of his pre-school. May Allah swt reward all of the teachers with good life and rezeki.. In sha Allah..

Fahri's first stage performance

Assalamualaikum..

Tajuk macam gempak je kan haha... Actually, last Saturday, Fahri was involved in his pre-school, Little Caliphs (Port Klang Branches) annual road show and parents were also invited to the event. The road show was held in Tesco Bukit Tinggi Klang, at the food court area. RM25 was charged for the event. My husband and I were pretty excited about it because this is Fahri's first stage performance in front of a big crowd. We were so eager to watch Fahri on stage because knowing him, he is a shy boy. Would he be able to follow the instruction and memorize the steps?

Apart of being impatient on Fahri's performance, I was also being asked by Fahri's teacher to deliver a short testimonial. I was like ok.. can you imagine, I thought that I just need to 'whats app' the testimonial to the teacher..maybe they want to print screen my comment about the school, i thought at first. Haha. Then, when the teacher told me that I need to deliver it on stage, I was about to scream! My respond? I agreed to do it. I asked my husband to join me on stage. He refused and he said it is not "his thing". Well, I might have the confidence because my job is to deliver lessons every day in class to my students, but hey this is something new to me as well. And, the audience is totally difference. Nevertheless, I agreed to do it because for me, why not. The teachers have helped my son so much in achieving the skills that he are capable of doing right now (Fahri now can read two-syllables words proficiently, he can write alphabets, praying and memorizing few surahs) after 10 months of pre-schooling. So, why not I gave them a favor. Plus, I am not the only parent who is being asked to be on stage. For every class, two parents were invited to deliver their short testimonial. I did not prepare anything because I have witnessed my son's progression every single day, so I would just do it spontaneously. I would prefer the speech to be delivered naturally, without a script.

The boys woke up earlier that morning. Abg Fahri slept very early the night before and reminded us that he 'had school' the next morning.
The situation at the back stage.
Fahri's shock-face when he got to know that he has to perform in Tesco! haha As usual, there were morning dramas; kids were crying, some were too sleepy
The teachers at their booth behind the stage
 the stage
Had to 'bribe' Naeem with these ball candies so that mama and papa could watch Abg Fahri performing on stage hehe
After 4 groups presented their performance, it's Fahri and his friends' turn! Look at my boy... still figuring out what was happening haha. I guess he did not expect that he would be performing before a quite number of crowd.
My shy shy boy. Fahri and classmates recited Surah An-Nas and later, they performed a song entitled 'Allahhu' ( of course they were just singing along and had some choreographic moves).. Anyway.. kids are always adorable no matter what they do. We are happy that Fahri was actually did not have the stage fright. He even could perform in front of a crowd. Well done my boy. Even though the steps were quite simple but my concern was more on the exposure he experienced from the event.
So, the mamafahri moment! It was just a short 5 minutes testimonial. I complimented the teachers and the methods used in LC....but, to be on stage with my son is definitely a limelight of my 2015, Alhamdulillah. I was happy to share my experience on sending my kid to Little Caliphs with other parents.
The final performance by all the students
 Terselit anakkku di situ

Naeem got bored towards the mid of event, hence we bought him a pistol toy.. haii lahhh Naeem... Thank you my SILs, Ain and Aina for coming and showing some love!!

and mama... We wish you all the best in gaining more life experience be it in formal class or informal, insyaAllah. Ini baru pre-school haha. Let us just wait for Naeem's turn when he enters pre-school in 2 years time!
