New Batch

Sedar tak sedar, it has been almost 11 months i have worked here. Sudah mengatasi tempat kerja lama dulu (8 months je). So, am I really enjoying my life here as an academician? I don't have any valid answers for that. However, I am the one who will just focus on my job without bothering other people's business. I don't really like wasting my time to purposely approaching people and gossiping about others. I don't care if there is anyone who doesn't like me because they do not know me. The real me. I've done my part. Have you? So, get a life!

However, i want to talk about the new batch in my office. Well, we have a lot of new-comers around. And for God's sake! They are working like there is no tomorrow! I am so impressed. There are 5 of them. Just imagine, they will stay back till 10 at night almost every day, even on Saturday! Are they insane? Maybe, they are not. Because we have to complete an OBE file, which requires us to work like buruh binaan. Buruh binaan pun lagi relaks kot. They expressed their tense and pressure to me sometimes and they only nicest thing i could say is.."Be strong dear, we have been through crazier than this..' huhu

Well-prepared

susahla nak blogging kat opis ni.msti ade yg menyinggah..i x suke org kat ofis ni bace ape i tulis.nak ngumpat fasal diorg pn susah.da balik umah, mls lak nak bukak laptop and menaip.that's why my entries lately ni, so simple and sweet ;)

Being a lecturer to young adults kan, are really challenging. But, as for me, this challenging is fun to deal with. You have to face so many types of attitude and lame excuses. Sometimes it's funny and sometimes it's NOT. But, being me...i love being motivated. And yes, my students are one of the biggest motivation that i have right now. When i see them, i see myself, struggling to complete my study. They are doing their degree and I am aiming my master's soon..hopefully.

The students are having their speaking test within this week and next week. One class had already done it (Half of them). They did it excellently. But of course, the ones who were well-prepared had no problems to excel in the speaking test. I found that they will have no big issues once they step in the working-life. Because they are well prepared. But for those, who are always keep procrastinating and not ready, are actually reflecting their own future soon.

Of course, I am not a super-duper-always-well-prepared-girl during my degree years. And if only I could turn back time and study gile2 dulu and always be prepared....I envy my students and I want to complete my master's a.s.a.p.!

A question for me

Last week, i was on leave and mc for the whole week due to health problem. I told my students that class is postponed to another date that i will inform later..This week, i'm having my classes as usual and just now, before i leave the classroom, there was this one student of mine, came to me and said , " Miss! Miss! ehh Madam! ....madam sihat?" she asked. "Yes, sihat jer. last week x berapa sihat".. then, she asked another question, "Madam dah nak dapat baby ke" I was like.. "Ayyooo...awal lagi la...no no..I mc bukan sbb I uwek2 tp mmg i demam" huhu...

And yess..i believe..each time I take mc or leave in future, people will ask the same question. But hey, the answer is..no..not yet. But if ade rezeki, insyaAllah....

What do you do when you feel so unmotivated to work? Plus, your colleagues have the same 'mood' as you have. Yes, lets mengular...yesterday, Kim, Seri, Kamine and I felt so lame at workplace, so we've decided to 'run away' and hunting for food! Yup, we went to 'Ayam Penyet' @ Sunway. My colleague, Kim had introduced me with 'Ayam Penyet' and 'Lele Penyet'. Oh Em Ghee! I am so in love with the two dishes now! Thanks a million to Kim, making me fatter each time we had lunch together ;p

Don't you think this year's AJL is the best AJL so far? I do. I had a chance to witness the 'magic' performance by all the local singers. I felt overwhelmed by the music arrangement, vocal performance, stage design and the smoothness of the show. Eventhough, i did not expect Aizat to win with 'Pergi', but overall, all songs deserve to be in the finale. And all performers had given their best during that night. I had fun watching the show 'live' from Bukit Jalil. Thank you to Amin for the tix =)
