Idea masakan untuk anak-anak

Assalam...

So, like I have mentioned, one of my 2015's resolution is to cook more and less outside food. So, semangat membara2 la..Actually al kisahnya.. sy kesian tgk my son Naeem asyik makan bubur je..sebabnya memang kalau suap benda lain...confirm sama ade die buang balik or die makan 2 suap je. Bubur pulak, memang banyak..tapi lately nampak bubur pun die kurang. So, end of 2014 hari tu, I was thinking maybe die bosan makanan yg sama or maybe die belum excited nak makan sedangkan ya ampun.. umur dah 2 tahun 4 bulan. Jadi, penamatnya, sy berazam sy akan cuba masak macam2 ikut kesesuaian umur Naeem 2 tahun plus dan Fahri 4 tahun plus. So these are some of the menu yg saya masak selama 5 hari. Sebabnya sy amik cuti dari 5th Jan 2014 sampai 7th Jan 2014 semata2 untuk kasi support to Fahri yg dah start school.

So, resultnyer?
Alhamdulillah... Naeem dah makan bnyk sekarang! and yg penting die dan nak makan macam2 menu.. tak de la bubur je..so banyakla sikit nutrisi dan zat yg die dapat. Klau abg fahri Alhamdulillah..mmg skrg kuat makan.

Saturday:

 Breakfast: Kuey Teaow Goreng
Ni first time sy try goreng ala Nyonya Kitchen. Memang bebudak ni makan smpai ke petang. Bezanya cuma sy lebihkan kicap masin and rebus udang n sotong sblm dicampak ke dlm kuey tiaow =)
Lunch: Nasi Hujan Panas
Dah lama x buat.. Alhamdulillah..fahri makan banyak..mmg fav die.. adik pun mkn jugak

Sunday:

Breakfast: Kebab sosej filler
First time buat. X sangka FahriNaeem suke sangat! Tapi taktik die bagi diorg mkn sendiri siap ngn sudu garpu pisau diorg semua. Senang je. sy beli roti pita kat giant. Filler die: Goreng sosej sampai agak garing, masukkan bawang holland dan goreng smpai agak layu, masukkan telur yg dipukul with lada sulah n sos tiram, masukkan sos cili dan last skali masukkan carrot yg dipotong nipis. Roti pita tu sy kukus dulu kasi lembut n panas. pastu fill in je la inti ke dlm roti..oh ye..jgn lupa letak salad.. barula seimbang.Harus buat lagi pas ni!

 Lunch: Nasi Ayam
Apa lagi kan..all kids' fav! senang dan confirm bertambah2 diorg makan..

Monday:

Breakfast: Spaghetti Bolognese Meatball
Da lama x buat jugak. Tapi kali ni saya tumis pakai bawang putih je, x masukkan bwg merah..Nyum Nyum
Lunch: Ayam Kurma, Kacang Goreng Hati & Udang Sotong Goreng Kunyit
Antara fav Fahri jugak ayam kurma ni..n paling x sangka Naeem makan banyak sgt

Tuesday:

Breakfast: Nasi Lemak
Menu Wajib.. Budak2 ni mmg suka especially klau ade telur rebus. Abg Fahri's fav. Naeem kurang sikit nasi lemak ni..x tau la nape..tapi die suke sangat nugget tu

Lunch: Fish Fillet masak sweet sour & Chicken Soup
First time masak fish fillet ni. Result die mmg terbaik..Bertambah2 bebudak ni makan.. mmg terbaik gabungan chicken soup n fish fillet ni

Wednesday:

Sizzling Yee Mee
Memang kesukaan diorang ni..kali ni cukup semua bahan.. Alhamdulillah..

So, kalau mommies kat luar tu x de idea nak masak ape..boleh la try menu2 ni..yg penting x pedas sgt tapi masih menyelerakan ok!

Fahri's pre-schooling: Emotional post

Assalam... n happy Barakah Friday people!

So.. i posted few pictures of Fahri on his second day of school onto FB few days ago. So, what is really happening? Why mama is sad? Is Fahri getting well with teachers and friends? Is he coping accordingly to his new surrounding at school? Wahhh... macam rancangan TV la plak mama buat intro kan haha

If I were blogging about this on the first or second day of schooling..my post will be more emotional as he cried and refused to go for the first three days. Hati mana tak sayu dan sebak.

First day:

I got him ready by putting him tshirt and trousers (the uniform will only be ready by February) and he has no idea where we were going. I purposely didn't tell him that we were sending him to school. I was afraid he will refuse and it would just make the process getting more complicated. Then, hubby and I sent him to school and when we reached the school compound, he started to feel sad and refused to go out from the car. Hubby consoled him and then he wanted us to carry him haha.. malu aihhh abg fahri nk dokong2 lg.. He felt nervous of course. So, I carried him, walking into the school. I thought I could apply the same trick on the orientation day by getting into school together with him and quietly leave him when he will not notice. But darnn I was wrong. He became so sad.. so he sat with me outside for 20 mins. I tried to convince him that there's nothing he should worry about but my heart started to cry. Then, we had no choice unless to force him...one of the teachers took him from me and of course he was all screaming, crying.. oh my.. It was so heart-breaking to see my baby acted in such way. Then.. I left the school because they close the door to make sure the kids will have more focus.. I keep praying to Allah swt may Fahri will be in good hand. When I reached home.. I felt a lil bit empty as Fahri usually will play with Naeem but now there is only Naeem..of course it gave me more quality time with Naeem. So.. at 4.30 pm, I went to the school to fetch Fahri and when I arrived, I didn't see him outside at the playground with other kids. I started to worry. Then, I saw him inside the school and he was looking at me too. The moment he saw me, he started to cry. Huhu. I felt so sad, I asked the teacher was he doing ok.. she said it took her a long time to make him stop crying but he did some of the activities in class with other friends and he only began to cry when he saw me. Then, I felt relief a lil bit. At least he joined the activity. But, I was all teary inside out thinking about my baby. How he will go through this for tomorrow?

Second day:

He refused still. Before reaching school, I stopped by at MyMydin and brought him inside the shop. I let him to choose anything that he wanted, just to make him happy and WITH THE HOPE; I can pujuk him. And mannnn.. again I was wrong. The kinde bueno surprise did not help at all. As we were reaching the school compound, he started to cry and yes, he vomited inside my car. I called hubby to come and help me (thank u hubby even though he was preparing for his final exam). I changed his cloth and tried to pujuk him but he cried and refused still. Hubby came and just like a Wolverine, he carried Fahri into the school. I was like "Kuasa apakah yg Epul pakai ni, begitu mudah sekali angkut Fahri mcm tu je" Yes actually I was the one who was very weak to let my Fahri go :( Reaching the school gate.. again, the teacher took Fahri from hubby and this time around, he refused more and was getting angry with the teachers. I just couldn't watch it. Then, the teacher brought Fahri inside. He still crying. Then, I realized that I left his drinking bottle and cloth at home. I went home and headed back to school as soon as possible. When I was about to pass the bottle and cloth to the teacher, I was looking for Fahri.. suddenly I felt so touched as I saw one of the teachers were comforting Fahri by hugging him so tenderly and yes Fahri was not crying anymore. Fahri saw me and he looked more calm. I went back with a relief. 4.30 pm,  I went to pick up Fahri along with my sisters in law, Ana and Aina and Naeem. I saw Fahri was outside with his friends! I was so happy and I do feel proud of him. My son is adapting well with his friends. So, I went all like a jakun mama, taking his pictures from outside.

A smile that made me so happy
 I saw u mama

 the kids
oh my... he has new friend.. so cute
 anak mama da besar ;)))))
Fahri on the second day of schooling

Third day:

So, I thought everything was ok then. I was wrong again. I've learnt that he was still refusing to go. Thuis was the most emotional day for me. He did not want to wake up, did not want to eat, shower and even put on his cloth! He knew it.. Maybe he felt sad because why out of sudden he needs to be somewhere that he is not used to. My hubby saw me crying and he said he will pujuk fahri by sending him with motorcycle. I was all emotional because he refused to eat and looked very sad. I just did not know what to do. So hubby sent him to school. Then, hubby reached home, he said as usual, the teacher had to take fahri. I felt so hopeless.. I keep praying to Allah swt.. I know He wanted me to keep praying and communicating with HIM.. Yes I did..And as usual, Fahri was so happy everytime I picked him up. He looked very comfortable at school. The only problem was to getting him to school!

Fourth day:

I was already in office. Still feel sad thinking on how he would doing. Hubby went back to send him and I asked my sis in law how was Fahri. Surprisingly, she said Fahri did not cry no more, just he looked sad still. Oh.. that is more than what I wanted to hear! And he was the one requested for his school bag. Hubby said, he even behaved when he reached school..no more drama of tantrum. Alhamdulillah..mama is so happy to know this..mama was smiling all the way at office. But still, I have the doubt is he going to be the same the next day?
muka terpaksa-rela hihihi on the fourth day

fifth day (today):

Alhamdulillah.. I received picture from hubby that Fahri is all set to be a school boy. Mama is so proud of u baby! Mama know u can do this and surprisingly, u did it within 3 days! He kept requesting his school bag and was ready to go to school. Syukran Alhamdulillah..
I love school-face on the fifth day =)

Tips for mommies:

Yes, it's hard at the beginning. I am telling this because I know that I am not alone. It happens to all mothers whose kids have never been outside of the family... who does not used to be with so many people..friends..just like my Fahri. What I can say is..this is a normal process. We need to be strong and never give up. Most importantly, keep praying, be it yg wajib mahupun yg sunat. And have faith on your child.

Thank You 2014

Today is 31st December 2014. Oh hello and Assalamualaikum w.b.t 2015! I had a good year indeed of 2014. What about you?

So, my biggest highlight of 2014 ..hmmm..I would say in terms of financial...not to say I have lotsa money..owhh..that is totally wrong..jauh menyimpang...financial means...I managed to slot in some of my salary to a few saving plannings.. Alhamdulillah.. I was really bad in organizing my income..but last year I have promised to myself... to force myself to do this..Alhamdulillah Allah swt permudahkan..still..it's quite late I guess at this age..I have should start earlier.. so to my darling sisters out there..please..start saving since the first day you receive your salary. For the sake of our future. If u think u can't handle it on your own, then the best way is to make monthly deduction, be it the investment or any types of saving planning as long as you could not touch that money! Up to you!

And..don't forget your zakat pendapatan and so on, sedekah, and very important is to pay your debt. Of course, I still have my PTPTN and car loan's debt.

Alhamdulillah, I just love my workplace even though it is not as luxury as other places. But, the friends and the ilmu that I gain here is beyond my expectation.

Other than that, everything went normally, the family, the kids, health, friends, love.. Alhamdulillah. Praise to Allah swt.

So, my biggest resolution in 2015 ISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Fahri's Orientation Day-Little Caliphs Bandar Puteri Klang

Assalam... So..the day that I waited has passed.. I was waiting anxiously towards the day and Alhamdulillah everything went well, I would say. But, i need to remind myself that I should not take things for granted. Kids...they are unpredictable. So..what I am mumbling about?
My Fahri. My first son. My Love. Has all grown up. He is entering a pre-school starting this January 2015. I am all nervous and still. I couldn't believe myself that now I have more reasons to be worried about; read--> school stuffs-related for my son.
So, last week, on the 25th Dec (Thursday), Fahri had his orientation day. We kept reminding Fahri about it.. and Fahri..he will say "OK" most of the times, regardless how honest his answer is.heh.
Fahri, few days before the orientation day (OD), he slept very late, 1-3 am! Because there were so many pak cik and mak ciks entertaining him (my in-laws were back for sem break). Thus, the night before OD, as usual, Fahri loves to solat with me..especially for Maghrib and Isyak (he doesn't really pray if u know what I mean).. so that night after solat, he recited doa together with me.. I said my prayer slowly and he followed words by words (or maybe syllable by syllable ;) )- hoping that everything will go smoothly for Fahri on the OD. Amazingly, the next morning, he woke up with a lil bit of crying, by himself. I said to Epul "ni mesti ngigau kene paksa pergi school" hihi. The OD would start at 9 am.. and he woke up around 7.45 am (he usually wakes up around 10 am). Thank u Allah swt for granting our wishes. I had a good feeling since then. So, we (hubby, fahri n I) went to Little Caliphs, leaving Naeem with in laws at home.

When he saw the school, maybe felt a lil bit nervous, he wanted papa to carry him..hihi klakar la abg fahri ni..

When we arrived, the place was already full with the parents and kids.

Well, it took us 10 mins to convince Fahri to go inside and be with other friends and teachers. I thought he would say no till the end of the day, so hubby decided to buy some 'rewards' (kit kat and drinks) to console Fahri. So he went to the nearby shop. While I was trying to convince him to go inside, he saw a basketball net and said "Mama, mana ball?" He wanted to shoot the ball. So, I got the idea "Fahri, kalau fahri nak ball, kita kena mintak ngan teacher kat dalam...ok?" Then, he said "hmm ok mama". Yesss..hihi.. So we went inside together.. I said to the teacher that I will leave him in a few minutes, but the teacher, using her skill, she hugged my Fahri with love (I can see that and i am so touched), I am not sure what she said to fahri while hugging him but she nailed it.. I left quietly from the class..and the teacher hugged Fahri still. Then, they closed the door because they wanted the kids to focus on the class activities. Hubby arrived and asked where's Fahri then I told him the story. There were proud smiles on our faces. (Fahri is a shy boy and quiet at times, he is not that expressive, so when he safely and successfully placed himself in that class without a single tears, it made us proud). At times, when they opened the door, I could see that Fahri was looking around, searching for me n hubby and when our eyes met, I can see his smile and I felt wanna cry. I know my baby can do it. You nailed it baby. Alhamdulillah..

The teacher who succeed in consoling my Fahri...see that teacher with an elephant's head haha..and my fahri

 LC Bandar puteri

So, the parents are required to go to a talk "Reading Technique" at Botanic Hall, few miles from LC Bandar Puteri. When I was about to leave Fhari for a while, I managed to look at him from outside and guess what, he gave me a flying kiss twice..ok..confirm mama puas hati.

We went for the talk till 12 pm.. it is really worth it. So, it's a good thing that we went there so that we know the exact way how the teachers teach our kids to read. This is very important so that the kids would not be confused with different technique. Now I have to change my way to phonic reading strategy. No problemo. A teacher I am. InsyaAllah.
 Abg Fahri after OD
 Ok..let's go back abg
Anak mama, are u ready to party at school?????
Alhamdulillah..everything went well. Thanks to Allah swt, the Most Gracious.

But, my nervousness is never ending till Fahri really made himself comfortable at school.. Now, I am nervous about getting him to school every day. I really hope Fahri will have more good friends... can benefit all the lessons from the teachers and will be loved by all the teachers. May allah swt ease our journey for all time. aminnn
