Melaka Getaway Day 1: Garden City Apartment

Assalamualaikum and hye !

Seronoknya orang Selangor sebab last week dapat 4 hari cuti! Dan kebetulan we were on cuti-cuti in Melaka last weekend for 3 days and 2 nights. Actually, hubby and I were planning to have a vacation with my family (wan + umi + yah-little sister) in Malacca in January 2016. It will be more meaningful if my brother and family could join us but our little Hana Imelda and her mama (my sis in law) is still in confinement period. I have also planned with my sister slightly earlier that this is going to be our birthday vacation (my dad on the 25th, my sis 9th and myself 13th of December). Saja nak belanja and bawak my parents jalan2. The last family vacation that we had was in 2012. However, my husband had to pick up my SIL, Ain who was completing her KASTAM training in Ayer Keroh Melaka on 14th December. Thus, my MIL insisted to go to Melaka to pick up Ain and wanted to 'jalan2 Melaka' at the same time. Consequently, we had our last minute plan changed. We decided to initialize our Melaka trip as early as 11th December and bringing along my family members. First time ok we had vacation with both sides of family. Wow!!! The best part was 11th December is a public holiday in Selangor, hence no leaves needed to be applied! My husband and I were ready with the activities for three days because we have been in Malacca 4 years back. Two days before the trip, my dad was not feeling well and my mom said they might be 50-50 to make it. However, I never stop praying to Allah swt to ease our plan. I really wanna spend time with my family, like I missed them extremely bad :( Alhamdulillah, Allah swt has granted our prayers, my dad was getting better and voila! the next thing I knew they were already in KL :) Panjang pulak ceritanya kan...

Once my family (dad, mom n sis Mira) and my husband's family (MIL, FIL and SILs - Ana and Aina) arrived at our house, we left Bandar Puteri at 10.30 am.
 Selfish sikit before the journey.

The first stop was Akademi Kastam Malaysia, Ayer Keroh to pick up my SIL Ain.
Ain could only join us for one day.
We reached Ayer Keroh at 1 pm (plus the massive road jam). A tiring journey hence let's take a photo!

The journey to our stay apartment, Garden City was quite challenging because we were not familiar with routes in Malacca. Waze also was not really helping at times. We reached Garden City Apartment at 3.30 pm! Everyone was so hungry but Alhamdulillah we managed to find our place! The rent per night is RM350 with three rooms and two bathrooms.
This is the view from our house. We can see the sea..lovely
 Down... the swimming pool
the dining hall and the kitchen... kami makan di sini je because my MIL brought Nasi with Sambal Sotong. I also brought our breakfast meal, Fried Macaroni.
my baby was tired and requested his milk!
The boys were all excited exploring the house
 Bonding time before our jalan-jalan
 the living hall
Ok... we are ready to our first place to visit!

Ok, next post : Upside Down House, Taming Sari Tower and River Cruise

Kisah 6th wedding anniversary kami

Assalamualaikum and Hye...

Alhamdulillah.. It has been 6 years that my husband and I have tied the knot. Sekejapnya masa. This time around, we only managed to take our time and celebrated the day in Morib. Tapi makin lama kahwin ni, makin ntah pape plan celebration nya haha ...
I do admit, hubby ni after marriage, romantiknya dah jadi biasa2... but as a wife, I love surprises and romantic acts. So, untuk make sure the marriage will not be dull, the surprises must be planned and executed every year. Usually kami ni, hanya akan bagi hadiah bila birthday je... but since last year anniversary, hubby gave me an anniversary gift, so this year, kami bertukar hadiah untuk anniversary. I even ordered an anniversary cake this year!
Our anniversary cake, baked by Chegu Mimah (from FB).. Delicious yummy chocolate cake with cheese topping.

I dengan hubby memang jenis berlainan pendapat. Dia kata A. I kata B. Bukan melawan, tapi cuma menyuarakan pendapat. Kalau I kata C, dia kata D pulak. Tapi yang kelakarnya, end up kami akan setuju dengan pendapat yg kami x setuju tadi tu haha.. Contoh fasal cake ni. I said to my hubby, I wanted to bring this cake along to Morib so that we can celebrate with the kids on anniversary night, just take pictures as a memory, but he said it was not a good idea since it is gonna be difficult to bring the cake along the journey. I justified that this cake will be in a good condition even though it is not refrigerated 24 hours, based on my friends' experience. He remained disagree. The next morning, while we were packing stuffs to the car boot, he said "okla... we bring the cake along" hahaha... lain kali mmg tak nak gaduh la coz at the end of the day, he will agree with me. Mestila agree, idea wife dia ni walaupun ntah pape, tapi sweet je disamping faktor sayang bini punya fasal ;p

So, malam tu I memang dah inform hubby awal2, I nak dinner di Restoran Senandung Malam, Bagan Lalang. Tu pun I dapat info from other blogs that this restaurant punya seafood memang best and berpatutan. Before heading to our dinner, we snapped some pictures in our hotel room as memories.

He gave me Anna Sui's set of perfume miniatures ( I love all the scents) and I also gave him a perfume- Mont Blanc- StarWalker , ni pun because few days earlier, he accidentally mentioned that his favorite Starwalker was finishing. And a must routine every year- anniversary cards.
The boys memang tak peduli to take pictures so biar mama n papa je pose.. Kita mirror selfie je la sebab masa pun x de sangat..nak dinner lagi
The boys pun selamat 'menjamu' the cakes
Happy 6th Anniversary Abang...
I love You
I want to grow old with you (stereotype sangattt haha)
 his gift and mine
Tahun ni I punya effort for anniversary card memang kalah habis dengan hubby. He made me this! Terharu sangat... He decorated the card with the pictures of our significant and memorial places since our first meet, comel nya hahaha..

Then, dah puas posing, we headed to Restaurant Senandung Malam, Pantai Bagan Lalang. By using Waze, it took us 30 minutes from Morib Gold Coast. Sampai2, memang ramai manusia. Ramai jugak bawak cake for celebration. Kalau tahu, kami pun bawak cake hehe
Papa and Naeem
Abg Fahri yang asyik nak tengok zombie VS plants je kat youtube
Gigih berpink bagai sempena anniversary haha
our dishes: Siakap Tiga Rasa, Kailan Ikan Masin, Butter Prawn, Lala masak cili, with drinks (RM 66 for all) berbaloi sangat kan..
definitely will come and dine in again
sebelum tido, mari kita pose dgn dress anniversary mama ni haha

Thank you Allah swt for this LOVE

6 years of marriage, there are so many things that I have learnt about us:

1- We argue a lot. But, we do not fight. As a wife, no matter who speaks the truth, try our best to give in. Once his anger fades away, he will apologize.

2. I know, I argue a lot. Since before our marriage, we had different opinions most of the times. For me, it's ok to voice out your opinions because this is the time where he learns more about you, our likes and dislikes. Good things should be remembered and repeated, things that our partner do not favor should be avoided in future.

3. If we are not satisfied on certain issues in marriage, we MUST discuss with our partner. Make sure they understand how do we feel. BUT, make sure you choose the right time to do it. Do not voice out your dissatisfaction when he is having a bad time. Do not keep your problem on your own.

4. We will never stop learning about our partner's behavior. I have learned that my hubby is always beside me when I was warded in hospitals due to thyroid few months back. He is not the type who will massage you on your head and hug you from the back all the time, but he asked me what do I want to eat most of the times. He cares about my health insurance, he even pays for one of my personal insurance. So, that is how he takes care of me (I guess so hahaha). So ladies, do not compare our husbands with others.

5. Do not be too dependent. This should be practiced in parenting. He will help and do when he wants to. And Alhamdulillah, I have a very helpful husband.

May Allah swt bless our marriage now and hereafter, amin....

Review Morib Gold Coast

Assalamualaikum and Hye..

Last week, my hub, the boys and I went to Morib Gold Coast. Konon-konon sempena anniversary la (anniversary kita buat special post keh hehe). Actually, like usual, I will do a survey and some research if we are planning for any trip. So, I have searched for the reviews of Morib Gold Coast from the internet. Well, it came to my surprise that there were so many bad reviews of Morib Gold Coast. However, hubby and I had no other options because at that moments (with tons of office works) and we just wanted somewhere which was nearby, not too far. And most importantly, it will bring joy to the kids, read: the water park! . Thus, Morib Gold Coast was the best option we had at that time. So, best ke tak best? Nak tau best ke tak, kena baca la haha

We left Klang at 9 am on Friday (27th Nov) and reached Morib at 10.30 am. Fahri was sleeping all the way while Naeem was awake. This is the view at the parking lot. Parking lot pun nak ade view ke? hahah
p/s : it is advisable for you to leave early even though the check-in time is at 3 pm so you can start splashing at the water theme park before checking in.
I had made my booking through agoda.com so we just passed our booking number at the lobby counter and received our water theme park tickets (tickets for adults are included in agoda deal, we only had to pay extra for Fahri, RM 12 and no charge for Naeem, based on the kids' height). Oh ya, the studio suite deal that I booked through agoda.com was RM 221(with free breakfast and water theme park tickets for adults) including taxes, per night.
Oh the boys were ready for water-fun! Abang Fahri was just awoke from his sleep.
These boys kan, kalau fasal main air... ikut je apa cakap kita... mama cakap " Kalau nak main air... makan banyak2 dulu" haaa... habis 2 keping roti canai diorang bantai
The water excitement was about to begin... as usual papa was so rajin to layan the boys.
Mama's turn! Mama yang takut air ni.... But i sanggup menyelam just for my kids hehe
Sekali sekala kasi diorang happy memang berbaloi
Haha... the funny part was I was so scared to go down through this slide... what happened to me???? Hubby and the kids were so frustrated as they were cheerleading for mama down there hahaha... sorry darlings... mama is so not adventurous
We also took this opportunity to train our boys to be a better swimmer. Naeem was so brave like papa!
Fahri pulak.... takut2 sikit just like mama!
The boys including the BIG boy had so much fun
 My grown-up boys
Around 1 pm, I left my hubby and the boys at the water park and headed to Pantai Morib to buy our lunch. There were quite numbers of option there, I tapaukan Nasi Kukus Ayam Rempah and also this crispy squid.. yummy!
After enjoying their water activities, we were getting ready to check in. It was just 2 pm, so we waited at this area and taking some pictures.

The check-in process was not taking so much time as what I have read from other blogs, Alhamdulillah. We got our room around 3.10 pm
The double-single beds.
The TV corner
 the jacuzzi
air lagi!
We were ready for the anniversary dinner (next post) !
The next morning, papa said, let's go the water park one more time... of course! gunakan kesempatan yang ada sebaik mungkin.. tapi jangan lama2 sangat berendam tu...not really good for the kids
There were several hired photographers who will ask you to take your family photo and you can view the pictures at the exit counter. If you want to buy them, it costs you RM30 for one picture and rm50 for 3 pictures.
Then, after a check-out, we headed to Pantai Morib. Waiting for hubby to check-out.
Pantai Morib memang cantik. Makanan pun best2
mama and abang long
papa and abang Ngah (perasan nak baby lagi)
We ended our trip by playing the giant bubbles at Pantai Morib

Overall Review: Well, since I have read so many bad reviews on Morib Gold Coast, I had a very low expectation towards it. We just wanted to bring the kids to the water park. Nevertheless, I had to say, we had a good stay and memory in Morib Gold Coast and Pantai Morib. Alhamdulillah. The check-in and check-out process was fast, the staff were friendly, the room was OK and the breakfast meals were delicious. So, good luck people!
